The Jumping International de Valence CSI 5* began on a flying start with the €25,250 Prix Hubside CSI 5*. Several champions among prestigious riders competed against each other until Pedro Junqueira Muylaert (BRA) & Chief Tibri Z MFS (Corland x Berlin) managed to impose themselves and take the lead for good in the 1.45m two-phase class, registering no penalties and a final in a time of 30.63 seconds.
“I’m thrilled to win here. It’s a gorgeous show and the crowd is amazing. It’s the best way to start the weekend, and I hope it will go on like this until Sunday!”
The Brazilian rider and the 9-year-old grey Zangersheide gelding took all the risks to beat the extremely good time of Guillaume Foutrier (FRA) and Tchin de La Tour (Chin Chin x Narcos II), the duo finishing second in 30.92 seconds.
The podium was completed by Emanuele Gaudiano (ITA) and Carlotta (Chaccomo x Cento) after a penalty-free performance all the way to the finish line, stopping the timers in 31.70 seconds.
