Paillot Equestrian released an announcement stating that Margie Engle has taken over the reins of USA Normande. The Grand Prix mare from Paillot Equestrian will now be seen competing with new co-owner, the legendary american rider.
USA Normande, a ten year old Selle Français bay mare by Made in Semilly x Urbain du Monnai, had been developed by Paillot Equestrian since the age of seven. She had been successfully shown in Europe and in the USA under the saddle of Nicolas Paillot (FRA), Darragh Kenny (IRL) and more recently, Yann Candele (CAN).
Some of her latest accomplishments include being 4th in the CSI 3* Grand Prix of Reims (France) this year, after having won the CSI 4* Longines Trophy Grand Prix in La Coruna (Spain) in 2017, with rider Yann Candele.
“We are very excited about this new partnership with Margie; not only is she one of the most successful American riders of all times, she is also an outstanding horsewoman and a great friend “ says Nicolas Paillot.
Margie added: “I immediately was impressed with USA Normande when I first saw her a couple years ago, while staying at Paillot Equestrian’s farm in France over the summer. I’ve followed her since and am looking forward to start competing her”.
