Gerrit Nieberg (GER) & Quibelle de la Coeur won the €25,120 Grand Prix of Surenburg CSI 2* last Sunday during the Riesenbeck International CSI 2* in Germany.

The German and the 10-year-old bay Selle Français mare (Quincy Jones x Ravallo) triumphed in the 1.45m/1.50m class by leaving all the poles up and completing the jump-off with no penalties in 46.89 seconds.

Second place was claimed by Johannes Ehning (GER) & Quintana Roo 2 (Quintero x Cardino), finishing only three-hundredths of a second slower than the eventual winners.

Ludger Beerbaum (GER) & Lasse K (Le Carolus x Zapateado) gave the Germans a ‘trifecta’, backed by two penalty-free performances, the last one in 48.61 seconds.
