
Guy Williams (GBR) & Rouge de Ravel won the €43,300 Falcon Stakes yesterday during the Royal Windsor Horse Show at the Royal Windsor Castle Grounds in Windsor, Berkshire, in England.
The Brit and the 13-year-old bay Selle Français stallion (Ultimo van Ter Moude x Quouglof Rouge) triumphed in the 1.50m jump-off challenge by leaving all the rails up for the second time, registering no penalties and the fastest time of 34.47 seconds during the tiebreaker.
Steve Guerdat (SUI) & Ulysse des Forets (Col Canto x Le Tot de Semilly) claimed second place after posting their second penalty-free performance in 34.83 seconds.
William Funnel (GBR) & Billy Angelo (Kitile Korta x Kroongraaf) rounded out the top three backed by a clean scoresheet, going through the timers in 35.38 seconds during the tiebreaker.
