
David Blake (IRL) & Dy Zento won the $25,000 McCurry Deck Motors Grand Prix last Saturday during the Tryon Spring Series at the Tryon International Equestrian Center (TIEC) in Mill Spring, North Carolina.
The and the 10-year-old bay Dutch Warmblood gelding (Zento x Goodtimes) claimed top honors by being the faster of the only two combinations that registered two penalty-free runs, completing the jump-off in 46.617 seconds.

Juan Ortiz (VEN) & Nenuphar’Jac
Juan Ortiz (VEN) & Nenuphar’Jac were the only other combination with no penalties throughout their both performances, finishing second with a time of 46.684 seconds during the tiebreaker.

Brittni Raflowitz (USA) & Hilton van de Breepoel
Brittni Raflowitz (USA) & Hilton van de Breepoel (Contact van de Heffinck x Opium) registered the fastest time among all the finalists, but one pole down in 44.863 seconds in their second outing meant that they would settle in third place.
