
St. Gallen, Switzerland – June 07, 2026 – The German Marcus Ehning (GER) won the Longines Grand Prix of Switzerland CSIO 5*, the highlight of the Longines CSIO St.Gallen. Held under the format of two rounds and obstacles up to 160 cm high, the test worth 500,000 euros counted for the Longines world rankings and served as qualification for the 2026 World Championships.

With Coolio 42, a 13-year-old bay Holsteiner gelding (Casalito x Quidam de Revel), Ehning showed a double flawless performance and completed the winning lap in 46.08 seconds.

The Austrian Katharina Rhomberg (AUT) with Colestus Cambridge took second place, also clear in 46.83 seconds.

Third place was claimed by the German Pia Reich (GER) with PB Loewenherz in third place (50.80 seconds) – all three pairs on the podium made a double clear ride.
The best Swiss was Pius Schwizer (SUI), who took twelfth place with Jason R, after 4 penalty-points in the first round and 8 penalty points in the winner’s round.
