Doha, Qatar – March 27, 2026 –  The Longines Arena at Al Shaqab hosted the second day of the 2026 Al Shaqab Cup on Friday, as the programme unfolded across CSI 1*, CSI 3* and CSI 5* competitions. The event is being held without public attendance, with live coverage available across broadcast platforms and Doha Equestrian Tour social media channels.

Gerfried Puck (AUT) was the star of the day, topping the $106,000 Jump-off Challenge CSI 5* with Equitron Naxcel V. Riding against four other combinations in the tiebreaker, the Austrian was supreme aboard the 2013 chestnut Belgian Warmblood stallion (Balou du Rouet x Landetto), registering no penalties in 39.05 seconds.

Mohamad Mogheeth Al Shehab (SYR) and Carlotto S were the closest ones, finishing second only due to their final time of 40.67 seconds.

Ali Al Khorafi (KUW) and I rounded out the top three backed by a clean scorecard and jump-off time of 41.43 seconds.
