Doha, Qatar – February 13, 2026 – At the Longines Arena at Al Shaqab, the €1,500,000 Grand Prix of Doha CSI 5* for H.H. The Amir’s Sword delivered a finale worthy of its stage as Abdullah Alsharbatly (KSA) and his mare Diriyah claimed victory after an explosive jump-off.

After two demanding rounds of top-level sport, the tension was palpable. Clear rounds were hard-earned, time was everything, and the jump-off promised no mercy as nine of the thirteen combinations who advanced to the second round qualified for the grand finale.

Pieter Devos (BEL) & Casual DV Z

Pieter Devos (BEL) and Casual DV Z set the standard, leaving all the poles up for the third time, thus establishing the time to beat at 39.20 seconds.

Khaled Al Mobty (KSA) & Diana du Plevau Z

Khaled Almobty (KSA) had plans to overtake the Belgian. The Saudi rider set off at a fast pace aboard Diana du Plevau Z and managed to achieve his objective, taking over the lead in 37.45 seconds.

The clock was unforgiving and then came Abdullah Alsharbatly (KSA) – last to go, composed. Calculated. Unshaken. Riding Diriyah with absolute conviction, he attacked the course with precision and power, shaving every possible stride to stop the clock at a blistering 36.29 seconds. Khaled Almobty (KSA) and Diana du Plevau Z secured second after a fearless performance, while Devos and Casual DV Z completed a podium defined by world-class sport.

The atmosphere at the Longines Arena at Al Shaqab was electric from start to finish. As the jump-off order tightened and the clock became the ultimate judge, the crowd rose with every stride, every turn, every daring approach to the fences. It was a collective heartbeat, a surge of anticipation and celebration that transformed the Grand Prix into a truly unforgettable spectacle.
