
San Miguel de Allende, Mexico โ October 17, 2025 โ Showjumping under the lights is always special, even more sepcial and exciting when it’s held on Saturday night and organized by Otomรญ Grand Prix in Mexico . The second week of the Mexico Fall Tour at Otomรญ Club Hรญpico culminated last Saturday and it was Nicolas Pizzaro (MEX) who stole the spotlight aboard Farino du Guinefort, claiming top honors in the $76,500 GNP Seguros Grand Prix CSI 3*.

Thirty-one combinations representing Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Cuba, Italy, Latvia and Mexico challenged the first round of the 1.50m course designed by Guilherme Jorge (BRA). Five combinations, each representing a different nation, were represented in the tiebreaker.

Edoardo Alain Debois (ITA) and Cazaan were one of three finalists who mastered the jump-off course, choosing a conservative approach that allowed them to cross the finish line in 43.49 seconds. a mark that proved to be enough for bronze honors.

Perhaps the most successful rider the past two weeks at the cozy venue and winner of several important classes, John Perez Bohm (COL) came very close to scoring another win, this time finishing second with Aztlan in 39.18 seconds.

One of stars of the sport in Mexico, Nicolas Pizzaro (MEX) did not disappoint the crowd that cheered him on, daring the 10-year-old bay Selle Franรงais stallion (Upsilon x Arpege Pierreville) to go faster and the dynamic duo delivered. They cleared all the obstacles before stopping the final timers in 38.05 seconds for victory.
