Calgary, United States – June 13, 2025 – A big field of competitors (56 entries) for the $17,485 AltaGas Cup 1.45m on the International Ring on Fridaymorning at Spruce Meadows. Fifteen horse/rider combinations posted clear rides in round one of competition and advanced to the jump-off of the 1.45m challenge.

Great Britain’s Matthew Sampson (GBR) picked up his first victory of the tournament aboard the grey mare, One Whisper. The pair posted the fastest clear ride in the jump off of 36.83 seconds. Sampson also picked up fourth with Un Secreto Z.

A true testament of fierce competition, three different nations were represented on the podium. Mckayla Langmeier (USA) and Quista VD Rollebeek raced towards silver honors in 37.13 seconds while Daniel Coyle (IRL) and Daydream dashed for bronze honors in 37.63 seconds.
