Basel, Switzerland – April 05, 2025 – The Master claims the crown! Serving as the appetizer to the grand finale, the €300,000 Longines FEI Jumping World Cup Final – Third Competition CSI 3* on Sunday, the €165,000 Turkish Airlines Grand Prix CSI 3* was held on Saturday at St. Jakobshalle. In the end, it was Marcus Ehning (GER) and DPS Revere who raced to victory in the feature CSI 3* class of the week there.
Thirty-seven combinations took part in the first round but only seven of them managed to advance to the tiebreaker of the 1.55m contest. Ehning excelled again aboard the 12-year-old grey Irish Sport Horse gelding (Hermes de Reve x Dobels Cento) in the decisive round, clearing all the obstacles a second time while crossing the timers in 37.13 seconds for victory.

Bryan Balsiger (SUI) and Castiel left all the poles up in the jump-off too, being just three-tenths of a second slower than the winning the mark.

Before going on to claim the €750,000 Longines FEI Jumping World Cup Final CSI 5*-W, Julien Epaillard (FRA) warmed up with Easy Up de Gandry, riding towards a clean scorecard and bronze honors due to their jump-off time of 37.48 seconds.
