Compiègne, France – April 05, 2025 – This Saturday, under a big blue sky and in front of packed stands, Mathieu Lambert (FRA) offered a real sporting fireworks display in the €15,000 Aloga Auction Small Grand Prix CSI 3*, the second highlight of the 2025 Compiègne Classic. Riding Easy Cash du Sey, the French rider won at the end of a very selective jump-off, where only three couples achieved double clear rounds. He was ahead of Grégory Cottard (FRA), already in great form this weekend, and Sara Brionne (FRA), author of a very nice course.

Among the seventy-two couples at the start of this 1.45m class, only sixteen found the key to the first course designed by Yann Royant. We had to wait for the passage of Sara Brionne to witness athe first flawless jump-off performance, concluded in 42”22 with Grand Duc du Paradiso.

Grégory Cottard (FRA), this time associated with Cybelle de Wy Z, then took the provisional lead (41”75) before Mathieu Lambert (FRA) swept everything away with a superb tiebreeker in 40”38, as the penultimate contender.

“I’ve been riding Easy Cash since January. We got to know each other at the Sunshine Tour and he was third in a 1.45m class last week. I’m delighted with these performances,” he said. “Olivier [Guillon] gave me the strategy to do a winning jump-off. With this faulty jump-off, the goal was to play it safe at the start of the jump-off.” An excellent result for a promising combination, who are approaching the CWD Grand Prix of the City of Compiègne on Sunday with a very positive dynamic.
