Nayel Nassar & Dorado de Riverland Race to the Top in the $32,000 Dodd Technologies CSI 5*

Wellington, Florida, United States โ€“ March 26, 2025 โ€“ Nayel Nassar (EGY) got off to the perfect start in the 12th and last week of the 2025 Winter Equestrian Festival (WEF) at Wellington International. Teaming up with Dorado de Riverland, he claimed top honors in the $32,000 Dodd Technologies CSI 5* – 1.45m on Wednesday in Wellington, Florida, United States.

The 1.45m special two-phase challenge featured forty-eight combinations and 27 of them were clean and registered no penalties after crossing the finish line. In the end, it was Nassar (EGY) who turned on the nitro aboard the Evergate Stables’ 12-year-old bay Selle Franรงais gelding (Untouchable M x Argentinus), completing the second section of the course in 30.48 seconds for the win.

Giulia Martinengo Marquet (ITA) and Scuderia 1918 Calle Deluxe came the closest to matching the winning time, being three-tenths of a second slower in the second phase.

A true testament of high-quality international competition, three different nations were represented amongst the top three. McLain Ward (USA) and First Lady rode towards bronze honors, just two-hundredths of a second behind the latter two.
