
Ocala, Florida, USA โ February 26 , 2025 โ World No. 8 Richard Vogel (GER) got off the perfect start at the World Equestrian Center (WEC), teaming up with Phenyo Van Het Keysersbos for victory in the feature class of the week at the renowned venue, the $32,000 Two-Phase Special CSI 4* on Wednesday.

The 1.45m challenge was contested by 30 combinations but the German and the 10-year-old bay Belgian Warmblood stallion (Corydon van T&L x Heartbreaker) were supreme by being clean all the way to the wire, completing the second section of the course in 30.47 seconds.

Vogel blazed past two great American riders. In fact, Richard Spooner (USA) was right on his heels aboard Lyjanair, finishing just one-tenth of a second off the winning mark set by the German.

Kent Farrington (USA) and Orafina were a bit further back, rounding out the top three in 31.42 seconds.
