
Hong Kong, China – February 16, 2025 – The 2025 Longines Hong Kong International Horse Show (LHKIHS) CSI 5* came to a thrilling conclusion last Sunday, marking its successful debut. Over the three days, world-class equestrian athletes and their magnificent horses delivered unforgettable performances, captivating spectators, and solidifying Hong Kong’s position on the global equestrian stage.
This year’s edition showcased world-class performances across multiple disciplines, from 5-star Show Jumping (CSI5*) including the Longines Grand Prix, to power classes with the highlight being the Great Wall Challenge – Puissance. With over 50 international horses flown into Hong Kong for this prestigious show, the competition was fierce, the performances breathtaking, and the atmosphere electric.
The biggest competition of the show, the €505,000 Longines Grand Prix of Hong Kong CSI 5*on Sunday, was a perfect finale to the Show, with Zascha Nygaard Lill (DEN) from Denmark along with Com’on Stanley claiming the top spot.

The Danish rider and the 10-year-old bay Westphalian gelding (Stakkato x Calido I) triumphed in the 1.60m challenge against 8 other combinations, out of the original 21 in the first round, doing so in flawless fashion and in 31.68 seconds.
Scott Brash (GBR) and Hello Chardora Lady (Chacco-Blue x Nintender) were right on the heels of the eventual winners, finishing only three-hundredths of a second behind.
Richard Vogel (GER) and Cloudio (Casall x San Patrignano Cassini) completed the podium, registering no penalties while completing the tiebreaker in 32.24 seconds.
