Gerrit Nieberg & Ping Pong van de Lentamel Light Up Again in the €105,675 Equine America Grand Prix CSI 4*

Vejer de La Frontera, Spain – February 16, 2025 – The German rider, Gerrit Nieberg (GER) was the winner of the €105,675 Equine America Grand Prix CSI 4* class on Sunday at the 2025 Andalucía Sunshine Tour CSI 4*, with the very fast 10-year-old gelding, Ping Pong van de Lentamel (Emerald xToulon), owned by European Youngsters. They stormed around the course, coming across the finish line in 38.16 seconds to claim the feature class of the week.

This was their second big win as they had already triumphed in the €105,500 Stephex Grand Prix CSI 4* one week before.

Belgian riders have also thrived throught the two weeks of the tour. It was no different on Sunday as Roy van Beek (BEL) rode Cavoiro-H OLD another 10-year-old gelding, by Casallco x Calido I for Belgium. Their penalty-free performance in 40.31 seconds earned them the second spot on the podium.

Once again, Riccardo Pisani (ITA) was on the podium, this time by registering no penalties with Chatolinue PS (Diablo Blanco x Stakkatol), securing bronze honors in 41.40 seconds.
