Vejer de La Frontera, Spain – February 09, 2025 – German rider, Gerrit Nieberg (GER) fought a tight battle with his compatriot to take the win in Sunday’s €105,500 Stephex Grand Prix CSI 4* with the 10-year-old ‘Ping Pong van de Lentamel. who is by Emerald x Toulon. The 1.55m challenge concluded the first week of the 2025 Andalucía Sunshine Tour in grand fashion.
The pair had a really fast round in the seven horse jump off, stopping the timers in 43.99 seconds, almost a second in front of Jens Baackmann (GER) with Lorenz 86 (Livello x Clarimo) who completed their round in 44.93 seconds.
Third was French rider, Nicolas Sers (FRA) with Eleven de Riverland (Kannan x Diamant de Semilly), the only other combination to complete the tiebreaker in flawless fashion, being timed in 47 seconds flat.

2) Jens Baackmann (GER) & Lorenz 86 – 0 / 0 – 44.93
