Oliva Nova, Spain – January 31, 2025 – Pénélope Leprévost (FRA) powered past the competition on Friday at the Mediterranean Equestrian Tour (MET). Riding her faithful partner, Djagger Semilly, she put the dagger on the competition to win the battle for first place in the €28,700 Rent a Car Dénia Trophy CSI 3*.

The outstanding french rider and the 2013 bay Selle Français stallion (Diamant de Semilly x Apache d’Adriers) were supreme in the speed challenge, valid as the qualifier for the grand prix, doing so after a flawless “flight” around the track in 64.69 seconds.
A true testament of fierce competition and the hugely-talented international field of riders and horses that took part in the 1.45m challenge, three different nations conquered the top three positions in the final standings.
Petronella Andersson (SWE) and Olympke Van ‘T Merelsnest were just over seventy-two hundreds of a second slower for silver honors while Koen Vereecke (BEL) and Lector vd Bisschop blazed across the finish line in 66.72 seconds for bronze honors.
