Amsterdam, The Netherlands โ January 24, 2025 โ With 13 riders in the jump-off, Daniel Deusser faced tough competition in the โฌ56,800 De Telegraaf Prize CSI 5*-W over 1.50m. Peder Fredricson (SWE) with Alcapone des Carmille, Simon Delestre (FRA) with Jiamo VDS, and Willem Greve with Highway TN N.O.P. all crossed the finish line in 34 seconds. It came down to mere fractions of a second, and Danielโs time of 34.23 seconds with Otello was just enough to secure victory.
Peder Fredricson (SWE) delivered a stellar jump-off with his Alcapone des Carmille. The KWPN-bred Jiamo VDS, ridden by Simon Delestre (FRA), also showed exceptional quality. Although the home crowd cheered loudly for Willem Greve (NED) and his Highway TN N.O.P., hoping for a win in the RAI, his impressive performance fell just short after his victory in Leipzig, leaving him slightly off the pace to claim the top spot this time.
Winner’s Circle – Daniel Deusser (GER)
โOtello really knew where he was going. The jump-off was perfectly suited to us. On the stretch to the final nine strides, we made just enough of a difference to take the win,โ Daniel explained. โOtello has a big stride that I can easily follow. He might not be the fastest, but that big stride allows me to stay calm and let the fences come to us naturally.โ
Daniel added: โJumping Amsterdam is one of the most beautiful indoor events for me. Itโs known for its incredible atmosphere, and thatโs why we always love to compete here and keep coming back.โ
