
Basel, Switzerland – January 09, 2025 – Marlon Zanotelli (BRA) got off to the perfect at the Longines CHI Classics – Basel CSI 5*-W in Switzerland. Riding Talina du Vivier Z, the Brazilian rider was victorious in the €33,900 Thermoplan Prize CSI 5*-W, a special two-phase challenge featuring obstacles with poles set at the maximum height of 1.45 meters.
One hundred combinations entered the ring but it was Marlon and the 10-year-old grey Zangersheide mare (Taalex x Quick Star) who were the masters, completing the second part of the contest in 25.03 seconds, two-hundredths of a second ahead of the Portuguese pair, Rodrigo Giesteira Almeida (POR) e Solidat (25,05), who finished in second place.
The host nation was also represented on the podium since bronze honors conquered by Janika Sprunger (SUI) and Tullogher Lady Liberty in 35.55 seconds.
