
Lyon, France – October 31, 2024 – France got off to the perfect start on the opening day of international-level competition at teh 2024 Longines Equita Lyon CSI 5*-W & CSI 2*. Benoît Cernin (FRA) and Finesse de Maugre were responsible for the feat, claiming top honors in the €29,770 Laiterie de Montaigu Prize CSI 2*.

The 1.45m class was contested by 71 combinations with the Frenchman and the 9-year-old bay Selle Français mare (Comme Il Faut x Ogano Sitte) reigning supreme after a penalty-free performance in 61 seconds flat.
Alexandre Fontanelle (FRA) and Kyra Rosa raced towards silver honors, doing so in 63.47 seconds while Clément Boulanger (FRA) and Ghanati galloped flawlessly across the finish in 63.61 seconds to complete the all-French podium.
