Erynn Ballard Honors Her Ranking Topping the $80,555 GNP Seguros Grand Prix CSI 3*

San Miguel de Allende, Mexico โ€“ย October 19, 2024 โ€“ย The second and final week of the 2024 Mexico Fall Tour at the Club Hรญpico Otomi / Otomรญ Residencial Hรญpico came to an end on Sunday and the highest-ranked female rider in the world prevailed: Erynn Ballard (CAN)! The Canadian, currently sitting in the 20th position in the world rider ranking, teamed up with Fave d’Authuit to fly to first in the $80,555 GNP Seguros Grand Prix CSI 3* on Saturday.

Going up against 33 other combinations in the first round of the course designed by Guilherme Jorge (BRA), Ballard advanced to the jump-off along with 4 other pairs, before guiding the 9-year-old Selle gelding in flawless fashion again, blazing across the finish line 37.27 seconds to claim top honors. Only Eduardo Pereira de Menezes (BRA) and H5 Elvaro were within the same second of the winners, but the duo had a rail down to finish in fourth place.

After having claimed silver honors with Ocean Quality in the qualifier two days before, Emilie Conter (BEL) was consistent again, this time riding Trixie Z towards another second-place finish, doing so in 40.59 seconds.

Otomรญ brings out the best in Bliss Heers (USA), it’s no secret that she loves to ride there. Her excitement is usually matched by great performances. Once again, that was this case as the American earned bronze honors, backed by a clean scorecard and a final time of
