Traverse City, Michigan, USA – August 02, 2024 – A fantastic Friday featured three major competitions at the Turtle Creek Casino International Ring and it was Nikko Ritter (USA) and Aquiles del Caribe Z who stole the spotlight, claiming top honors in the $32,000 Hippo Data Welcome Stake CSI 2* during the fifth week of the Great Lakes Equestrian Festival (GLEF).

Thirty-four combinations contested the first round of the 1.45m challenge but it was the Nikko who turned on the nitro aboard the 10-year-old Zangersheide gelding (Action Breaker x Gerlinus) against 4 other combinations in the tiebreaker, prevailing in 37.260 seconds.

Francisco Goyoaga Mollet (ESP) and Stakato Cornet stormed to second place, matching the clean scorecard of the eventual winners, earning silver honors in 38.830 seconds.

**Arturo Parada Vallejo** (MEX) & **Bordeaux**

Arturo Parada Vallejo (MEX) and Bordeaux blazed towards bronze honors despite being faster in the tiebreaker than the previous two combinations, the duo had one rail down and four penalty-points, still managing to earn third place.
