Victor Bettendorf & Foxy de La Roque Fly to First in the €105,500 Casas Novas Grand Prix CSI 4*

Casas Novas, Spain – July 14, 2024 – The €105,500 Casas Novas Grand Prix CSI 4* promised a great show to close the A Coruña CSI 4* and did not disappoint the public that filled the stands of the equestrian center located in Arteixo, A Coruña, this Sunday afternoon.

A test at heights of 1.60m, with two rounds, in which 35 participants competed to be the best in this Grand Prix. Only 11 of them qualified for a second round that kept the public in suspense until the last moment.

**Victor Bettendorf** (LUX) & **Foxy de La Roque**

The big winner this afternoon was Victor Bettendorf (LUX), with an incredible ride in which he managed to overthrow the local rider, Diego Ramos Maneiro (ESP), by stopping the clock at 39.28 seconds. A feat of great difficulty that he achieved together with Foxy de La Roque.

Despite not getting first place, one of the great protagonists of the day, and of the weekend, was Diego Ramos Maneiro (ESP). The man from A Coruña was playing at home and did not want to leave anyone indifferent in this Grand Prix. In front of his audience, he performed an incredible test that only Victor Bettenforf (LUEX) could overcome, thus securing his second place. Diego Ramos set a time of 43.47 seconds riding Encantado C’SG.

Close to this second place would be the Swedish rider, Angelica Augustsson Zanotelli (SWE), with a time of 44.75 seconds, achieved with her mare Deesse de Coquerie.

The fourth and fifth place in the great test would be completed by the Irish Billy Twomey (IRL), with “Chat Botte E.D, and the Spanish Armando Trapote (ESP), with Cochiloco PS.
