Falsterbo, Sweden – July 12, 2024 – Besides the €200,000 Agria Falsterbo Nations Cup CSIO 5*, another major competition took place on Friday at the 2024 Falsterbo Horse Show CSIO 5*, The Agria Trophy Trophy CSIO 5*, valid as the Qualifier for the Derby. The 1.45m contest was challenged by 22 combinations on the course designed by Santiago Varela (ESP).

In the end, it was Julien Gonin (FRA) and Estrella de La Batia who shone the brightest. The Frenchman and the 10-year-old mare (Diamant de Semilly x Lando) were supreme in the speed challenge by clearing all the obstacles and crossing the finish line in 62.90 seconds.

The class was full of surprises and Przemyslaw Konopacki (POL) and Kaliber (Verdi x Baloubet du Rouet) were pleasant ones, finishing second in 64.26 seconds.

Carsten-Otto Nagel (GER) guided Cancaneur (Connor 48 x Lacros) in flawless fashion too, rounding out the top three in 65.21 seconds.
