Swedish Equestrian Federation Announces Team for the Olympic Games in Paris

Stockholm, Sweden – June 29, 2024 – The Swedish Equestrian Federation has announced the team members who will represent the country in the discipline of showjumping at the upcoming Olympic Games in Paris, France. The entrusted with defending the blue-yellow gold from the Olympics in Tokyo. Three of them will be part of the team and one will be a reserve in place. Who will ride in the team will be announced closer to the competition.

  • Henrik von Eckermann (SWE) & King Edward
  • Malin Baryard Johnsson (SWE) & Indiana
  • Peder Fredricson (SWE) & Catch Me Not S
  • Rolf-Göran Bengtsson (SWE) & Zuccero

“We are incredibly charged. It is a long process towards an Olympics and it is exciting now that we are approaching the championship. We go there to perform and we always aim high. But we know that everyone has to be at their best to make it all the way” says national team captain Henrik Ankarcrona.
