Marlon Zanotelli & Cornest are Clear to Claim the Audi Prize at the Dutch Masters

‘s-Hertogenbosch, The Netherlands โ€“ March 09, 2024 โ€“ The โ‚ฌ56,800 Audi Prize CSI 5* was an exciting finale to the third day of The Dutch Masters CSI 5*. Only three riders managed to clear the Louis Konickx designed course. In the end, the win went to Brazil, to Marlon Modolo Zanotelli (BRA) and Cornest.

The jump-off challenge, run over a height of 1.55m had only one double clear combination. The charming grey Cornest (by Balou de Reventon) did not come close to the poles and Marlon Modolo Zanotelli (BRA) took advantage of that. With short turns and a great final sprint, he claimed victory.

Marlon Zanotelli (BRA) & Cornest

“Cornest is a fantastic horse, which is developing super. He will be a special horse in the future for me. This is a fantastic competition and the crowd was really great. I didn’t expect to be the only double-zero, especially at this level. It was a tough test, with only three clear rounds. I stuck to my own plan and it worked out really well.”

It was a Brazilian one-two with Yuri Mansur (BRA) and Catch Me Marathon (by Contagio) in second place. They scored four penalties in the jump-off. Third was Scott Brash (GBR) with Hello Valentino. They ran into a refusal after a very tight turn, but recovered very well.
