
Bordeaux, France – February 02, 2023 – Great Britain got off to a great start at the 2024 Jumping International de Bordeaux CSI 5*-W as Harry Charles (GBR) and Billabong du Roumois raced towards victory in the €46,500 FFE Generali Prize CSI 5*-W, edging crowd favorite Roger-Yves Bost (FRA) and Swiss great Steve Guerdat (SUI).

Going up against 40 other combinations in the 1.50m speed challenge, the young British star and the 13-year-old chestnut Selle Français gelding (Mylord Carthago x Papillon Rouge) cleared all the obstacles while speeding on the course before crossing the finish line in 58.27 seconds.

Bosty completed his penalty-free performance on Ballerine du Vilpion in 60.19 seconds while Steve Guerdat (SUI) and Looping Luna galloped towards bronze honors in 61.49 seconds.
