Leipzig, Germany – January 19, 2024 – Julien Anquetin (FRA) and Blood Diamond du Pont have been one of the most consistent combinations representing France at the top of the sport and once again they proved that competing at the 2024 Partner Pferd – Leipzig CSI 5*-W on Friday. The Frenchman and the 13-year-old bay Selle Français gelding (Diamant de Semilly x Arpege de Pierreville) overcame 48 other combinations in the feature class of the day, the € 105,700 Longines FEI Jumping World Cup Qualification Class CSI 5*-W.

The dynamic duo sped around the track while leaving all the 1.55m poles up, crossing the timers in 58.58 seconds for first-place honors. The closest ones were Hans-Dieter Dreher (GER) and Vestmalle des Cotis, who matched their score, finishing second due to their time of 60.51 seconds.

Peder Fredricson (SWE) and SV Vroom de La Pomme Z rose to the occasion too, registering the third-fastest performance (61.21 seconds) of the class to claim bronze honors.
