Oliva Nova, Valencia, Spain – January 13, 2024 – Philipp Weishaupt (GER) and Coby 8 conquered the €28,200 Centro Ecuestre Oliva Nova Trophy CSI 2* last Saturday during the first week of the Mediterranean Equestrian Tour at the Centro Ecuestre Oliva Nova.

Philipp was powered to victory aboard the 2010 bay Hanoverian gelding (Contagio x Escudo 19), overcoming seven other combinations in the tiebreaker, backed by a penalty-free performance in 36.22 seconds.

Koen Vereecke (BEL) and Halima van het Bonte Hof Z were the closest ones, finishing second due to their final time of 37.64 seconds.

Two of the top three positions were claimed by Belgium as Virginie Thonon (BEL) and Pecorino de La Liniere secured bronze honors in flawless fashion too, doing so in 38.73 seconds.
