Henrik von Eckermann Wins Duel Amongst Sprinters at Casas Novas

Casas Novas, La Coruña, Spain – December 02, 2023 – The Sensormatic Trophy held earlier in the day offered a very high level duel, with the two fastest and winningest riders on the international circuit competing for the victory. In the end, Henrik Von Eckermann (SWE) won ahead of Julien Epaillard (FRA) with a difference of 60 hundredths of a second.

Henrik von Eckermann‘s (SWE) first victory came in Casas Novas. The Swede had tried it yesterday with Dzara Dorchival, occupying the fifth place, a position he could improve in the second day, since in the Sensormatic Trophy of 1’50 meters, he finished with the best record of the 33 participants with the daughter of Qlasssic Bois Margot. The number one of the Longines FEI ranking won a class a year ago in this same scenario, returned to Casas Novas this summer, adding a new triumph, and in the competition that is being held this weekend, he tasted again the sweetness of success.

Almost in the early stages of the competition, Henrik von Eckerman (ESP) and Dzara Dorchival set a record of references that seemed to sentence the result: 51.97 seconds.

But it was not until the participation of Epaillard (FRA) and Donatello D’Auge that the triumph of the Swedish crack was in danger. The Haras de La Bosquetterie rider tried once again with the son of “Jarnac”, stopping the chrono in 52.43 seconds, which was not enough to unseat the Swedish rider from the first place.

Nice duel that was lived in the arena of Casas Novas, with two top-10 in the first two places, Henrik von Eckermann (SWE), who received his trophy from Ricardo Arroyo, General Manager Johnson Control BT & S Iberia; and Julien Epaillard. Following them were two Swedish riders.
