
Rouen, France โ November 24, 2023 โJonathan Gordon (IRL) won a thriller on Saturday at Equi’Seine CSI 4* & CSI 2*, teaming up with Capri to claim the lion’s share of the โฌ36,000 M Comme Mutuelle Prize CSI 4*. Going up against 6 other combinations in the tiebreaker of the 1.50m contest, the Irishman was supreme on the 2013 black Oldenburg mare (Gentleman x Cador 5), stopping the timers in 35.40 after a impecable trip around the Grรฉgory Bodo‘s (FRA) course.
Competition was fierce and the final results of the top three confirmed that as Victor Bettendorf (LUX) and Mr. Tac were nipped at the wire by the eventual winners, five-hundredths of a second separating the top two pairs.
Still within the 35-second mark, Robert Whitaker (GBR) and Vermento completed the podium, registering no penalties and the jump-off time of 35.83 seconds.
