
Rouen, France – November 26, 2023 – Pénélope Leprévost (FRA) and Texas had alreadygotten off to the perfect start at the 2023 Equi’Seine CSI 4* & CSI 2*, claiming the feature class there on Thursday, the €30,900 Carno Avocats Prize CSI 4*. Not to disappoint, they ended on the perfect note as well, topping the €110,250 Grand Prix de La Region Normandie CSI 4* on Sunday.

The fifty best combinations earned their spot in the 1.55m challenge but Pénélope and the 2011 bay Swedish Warmblood gelding (Tornesch 1042 x Robin Z) once again rose to the occasion, mastering the shortened course while producing the fastest clean second-round performance amongst to claim the lion’s share of the €110,250 prize.
It was a one-two for the ladies as Jessica Burke(IRL) guide Express Trend towards silver honors, doing so in 39.49 seconds.
A true testament of an international test, three different nations were represented on the podium. Tim Gredley (GBR) and Medoc de Toxandria teamed up for third place, registering no penalties in 41.41 seconds.
