Harold Boisset & T’Obetty du Domaine are the Heroes in the €52,950 Andalucía Grand Prix CSIO 3*

Vejer de La Frontera, Spain – October 29, 2023 – The last day of the Andalucía October Tour III came to an end in great style with the successful French rider, Harold Boisset (FRA), topping off his success here by winning the €52,950 Andalucia Grand Prix CSIO 3*, a Ranking class and qualifier for the upcoming Olympic Games in Paris, France.

Riding the T’Obetty du Domaine (Kashmir Van Schuttershof x Diams du Grasset), owned by Bertrand Barascud, Harold claimed his third victory in Ranking classes here at the Tour. With this and  another second place, this pair have shown incredible consistency throughout the Tour and were well deserved winners today. Going up against 13 other combinations, the Frenchman and the 16-year-old Selle Français mare stopped the timers in 35.72 seconds for the win.

The closest clear to his time was American, Hannah Selleck (USA) with Cloud 39 (Clarimo x Quintero). After posting two fantastic flawless rounds that helped Team USA clinch third place in the Nations Cup CSIO 3* two days before the duo dazzled again with another two impecable rounds, earning reserve honors in 36.47 seconds.

Third and forth positions were claimed by two Swiss riders. Aurelia Loser (SUI) with Fleur Sinaa-A (Cardento 933), registered no penalties in 36.71 seconds for bronze honors while Dominik Fuhrer (SUI) and Ghost (Lord Z’ x Cantos) rounded out the top four in 36.86 seconds.

Prizes were given out by Francisco Montes, the director general of ‘Turismo de la Junta de Andalucía’ who were the generous sponsors of both this class and the whole of the III Andalucía October Tour.
