Barcelona, Spain – September 30, 2023 – Harrie Smolders (NED) rode Deesse de Kerglenn in convincing form to clinch victory in the €52,600 Queen’s Cup – Segura Viudas Trophy CSIO 5*, with a winning round. Out of the 48 riders who entered the competition, 12 of them qualified for the second round. In this round, Harrie Smolders (NED) and the 10-year-old bay Selle Français mare (Mylord Carthago HN x Crusador) clocked a time of 51.38 seconds, outpacing Italian Piergiorgio Bucci and Hantano (Quasimod Z x Numero Uno) by one and a half seconds, and Frenchman Olivier Robert (FRA), riding Iglesias D.V., by nearly two seconds for the win.
