Barcelona, Spain – September 29, 2023 – Stephan de Freitas Barcha (BRA) has won the €26,200 La Vanguardia Trophy CSIO 5*, the second competition of the day on Friday at the CSIO Barcelona. Riding Chevaux Hex Lup Imperio Egipcio, the Brazilian rider completed the course without penalties and with a spectacular time of 60.83 seconds.
The next two spots on podium were completed in flawless fashion too. Irishman Dennis Lynch (IRL) guided Dark Chocolate 48 towards second place in 61.17 seconds while American rider Jessica Springsteen (USA) rode Hungry Heart (USA) towards bronze honors in 61.33 seconds.
