Dinard, France – July 27, 2023 – The 111th edition of the Jumping International de Dinard, run masterfully by the Mars family since 2013, got off to a flying start on Thursday, July 27, copiously moistened with the famous Breton showers with seven classes open to CSI1*, 3* and 5* riders, as well as to future 7-year-old champions.
The 56 pairs engaged in the CSI 3*, representing ten different nations, had the honour of opening this first day of competition on the legendary grass arena of the Val Porée stadium at 8.15am in a 1.45m against the clockevent in tribute to the late Véronique Gauthier.
The French contingent showed their great form and determination by taking the first six places, thanks to Julien Gonin (FRA) and Estrella de la Batta, Nicolas Delmotte (FRA) on Baladin des Matis, Edward Levy (FRA) with Igins du Seigneur, Cedric Hurel (FRA) aboard Fantasio Floreval Z, Marc Dilasser (FRA) with Dagon des Baleines and Philippe Rozier (FRA) riding Prestigio LS La Silla.
