
Valkenswaard, The Netherlands – July 07, 2023 – Edward Levy (FRA) got off to a great start at the Longines Tops International Arena on Friday, teaming up with Vitôt du Château for the win the €7,000 Two-Phase Challenge CSI 4* there.
The Frenchman and the 14-year-old bay Selle Français gelding (Toulon x Kannan) were supreme in the 1.45m challnege by clearing all the 1.45m obstacles they faced in both sections of the course, completing the final part in 31.83 seconds.
Laura Kraut (USA) and Calgary Tame (Old Chap Tame x Kashmir van Schuttershof) were right on the heels of the eventual winners. In fact, the difference between the two combinations was the smallest possible, only one hundredth of a second.
Fabio Leivas da Costa (BRA) and Amigo W Z (Andiamo Z x Contendro I) completed the podium, registering no penalties and a final time of 33.87 seconds.
