
Bolesworth Castle, England – June 16, 2023 – Having the stunning Bolesworth Castle as the backdrop, the £24,800 Dodson & Horrell 1.50m jump off took place Saturday afternoon as the second qualifier for Sunday’s Cavago Grand Prix CSI 3* at the Bolesworth International Horse Show.
An exciting jump off saw ten combinations come forward with seven of them duplication their clean performance from the first round. In the end, it was a win for Graham Gillespie (GBR) riding Veneno, a 2008 bay Oldenburg gelding (Chacco-Blue x Baloubet du Rouet), storming past the field in 40.92 seconds.
Christopher Burton (AUS) rode towards the runner up spot on Chedington Hazy Toulana (Toulon) in 41.09 seconds while Tim Gredley (GBR) and Imperial Hbf (Glasgow-W vh Merelsnest x Original VDL) completed the podium just seven-hundredths of a second behind (41.16s).
