Abdelkebir Ouaddar Completes Hat-trick Teaming Up with Istanbull VH Ooievaarshof to Win €100,000 Grand Prix of Poznań CSI 4*

Poznań, Poland – June 11, 2023 – Forty-five riders took part in the Grand Prix of Poznań CSI 4*, for the trophy of the Mayor of the City of Poznań and the prizes of the City of Poznań and the patron of the event – Mr. Roman Roszkiewicz. The class at the level of 160 cm was counting for group B of the world ranking, and the athletes fought not only for the prize pool of 100,000 euros, but also for valuable points for the individual Olympic ranking and a qualification for this year’s European Championships.

**Abdelkebir Ouaddar** (MAR) & **Istanbull VH Ooievaarshof**

The first course was not an easy one. In the end, 8 pairs qualified for the jump-off. There, we once again witnessed a win by Abdelkebir Ouaddar (MAR) – this time aboard Istanbull V.H. Ooievaarshof.

“The owner of this horse is the king of Morocco, so we are all the more happy about this win. I am really proud of my horse. He’s not easy to ride, but very unique. In the jump-off, I knew that I had to be fast, because my rivals were riders I knew are very quick. I am happy that we managed to win for Morocco, I am also very happy with the fantastic applause of the Polish audience. 4Foulee is a great event, horses feel good here and so do we.” said the winner.

The competitor was in excellent form on all four days of this year’s 4Foulee, winning a total of three Longines Rankings competitions. On Thursday, he had already triumphed in the competition for the Horse Wielkopolska Award, and on Friday in the Maciej Frankiewicz Memorial, completing the hat-trick on Sunday.

**Adrian Schmid** (SUI)& **Chicharito 11**

The second place was claimed by the Swiss Adrian Schmid (SUI) with Chicharito 11, the only difference being their final time of 36.68 seconds.

**Karin Martinsen** (SWE) & **Tailormade Conita Blue PS**

Bronze honors was conquered by the Swedish representative Karin Martinsen (SWE) with Tailormade Conita Blue PS, doing so only nine-tenths of a second behind the latter two.
