Luiz Francisco de Azevedo & Nashville Turn on the Nitro in the $39,000 ProElite Feed Welcome Stake CSI 2*

Mill Spring, North Carolina, USA – May 25, 2023 – Luiz Francisco de Azevedo (BRA) and Nashville got off to a great start last week at the Tryon International Equestrian Center (TIEC) & Resort. The duo kicked offf FEI-level competition winning Thursday’s $39,000 ProElite Feed Welcome Stake CSI 2*, one of the main competitions of the fourth week of the Tryon Spring Series.

The Brazilian and the 2013 Belgian Warmblood gelding blazed through the course, overcoming the1.45m obstacles and 18 other combinations in the tiebreaker being over three seconds than the closest other clean jump-off performance, completing their second effort in 38.56 seconds.

Scott Keach (AUS) & Wild Thing

Scott Keach (AUS) and Wild Thing (Caracas x Contango II) were anything but wild, on the contrary, in control and consistent throughout their two rounds, securing silver honors in 41.49 seconds.

Maria Gabriela Brugal Gasso (DOM) & J’Adore Flamenco

Maria Gabriela Brugal Gasso (DOM) and J’Adore Flamenco (Je T’Aime Flamenco x Corofino I) were also penalty-free at the end of their two rounds, rounding out the top three in 42.22 seconds.
