
Wiesbaden, Germany – May 27, 2023 – Super Max victorious on home soil! Maximilian Weishaupt (GER) and Nexus turned on the nitro to win the $26,200 Lotto-Hessen Prize CSI 4* last Saturday during the 2023 Longines PfingstTurnier Wiesbaden CSI 4*.
Riding the 17-year-old bay Holsteiner stallion (Nekton x Calando I) and going up against forty two other combinations in the two-phase challenge, Max mastered them and all the 1.50m obstacles before securing the win in 32.60 seconds.
Victor Bettendorf (LUX) and Mr. Tac (Non Stop x Toulon) were the closest ones, finishing second in 33.42 seconds while Jack Whitaker (GBR) & Equine America Q Paravatti N (Quality Time TN / Indoctro) completed the podium just nine-hundredths of a second behind.
