
Bourg-en-Bresse, France – May 17, 2023 – Harold Boisset (FRA) and T’obetty du Domaine flew the highest in the €28,000.00 Le Clerc Cap Emeraude Speed Challenge CSI 4* last Saturday on the opening day of the 2023 Jumping International de Bourg-en-Bresse CSI 4* & CSI 2* at the AinterExpo.
Seventy-one out of the original 72 entries took part in the speed challenge and only 23 of the managed to clear all the 1.50m obstacles. In the end, it was Boisset who bested the field aboard the 2007 chestnut Selle Français mare (Kashmir van Schuttershof x Diams du Grasset), doing so in 59.27 seconds.

Victor Bettendorf (LUX) and Simolo de La Roquez Z (Spartacus TN x Casall) gave the eventual winners a run for their money, being only eight-hundredths of a second slower, a mark that would earn them silver honors.

The difference to next two highest-placed rider was even tighter. Richard Howley (IRL) and Mansini LTD (Caressini L x Marramas) rounded out the top three in 59.36 seconds, only one-hundredth of a second behind the latter two.
