Nancy, France – April 30, 2023 – Sometimes courses get the best of riders and that was the case on Sunday in the €60,000 Cheval Liberté Grand Prix 3*, the concluding class of the 2023 edition of the Jump’Est Nancy CSI 3* at the Pôle Hippique du Grand Est.

First, despite being the first to go in the fair but very demanding 1.55m course, designed by Gregory Bodo (FRA), Bordat produced one of only clean rounds in the first round to advance to the tiebreaker. Riding the 10-year-old bay Selle Français gelding (Quaprice Bois Margot x Kannan), Morgan mastered all the obstacles in the decisive round, prancing and dancing towards first-place in 42.79 seconds.
Jennifer Hochstadter (LUX) and Golden Lady (Cassini Gold x San Patrignano Mister) were the only other combination to register two clean rounds, earning reserve honors with a final time of 43.04 seconds.
Ugo Berrittella (BEL) and Picobello Jasmine (Arezzo VDL x Indoctro) were the only pair to advance to the jump-off, being eliminated in their second run, still conquering bronze honors.
