
Grimaud, Saint Tropez, France – April 14, 2023 – Edward Levy (FRA) was back to his winning ways last Friday at the Hubside Jumping Spring Tour`s CSI 3* & CSI 2*. One of the winningest riders at the venue since its conception, the French turned on the fast and furious mode with Confidence d’Ass, claiming the win in the €26,200 Special Two-Phase Challenge CSI 2*.
Going up against 81 others combinations in the 1.45m challenge, Edward excelled on the 2012 Selle Français mare (Diamant de Semilly x Berlin), advancing to and completing the second section without having any penalties attributed to them, securing the win in 28.74 seconds.
A rising star who has skyrocketed up the world rider ranking, Victor Bettendorf (LUX) put on a great performance on Damoisel Of Aranka (Diamant de Semilly x Cruising), finishing right on the heels of the eventual winners, in fact only seven-hundredths of a second 928.81) behind, a mark that would earn them silver honors.
Besides Edward Levy (FRA), another outstanding Frenchman climbed onto the podium. Philippe Rozier (FRA ) rode Night Light Van’T Ruytershof (Gemini x For Pleasure) in flawless fashion all the way to the wire, rounding out the top three in 29.57 seconds.
