Wellington, Florida, USA – April 15, 2023 – Blue skies were shining bright again on Saturday morning at the 2023 edition of the Longines Global Champions Tour of Miami Beach CSI 5* & CSI 2* as Yuri Mansur (BRA) and Miss Blue Mystic Rose blossomed to victory in the €105,300 LGCT Speed Challenge CSI 5* on the sands of the Sunshine State of Florida.
Riding the 10-year-old Brazilian Sport Horse mare (Chacco Blue x VDL Zirocco Blue), Mansur mastered all the obstacles set at the height of 1.50 meters on the course designed by Uliano Vezzani (ITA), besting forty-nine other combinations with in 62.99 seconds.
Perhaps the most consistent rider at event so far and before going on to finish second in the €300,000 Longines Global Champions Tour Grand Prix of Miami Beach CSI 5*, Eduardo Alvarez Aznar (ESP) teamed up with D’Orient Batilly (Numero Uno x Quaprice Boimargot Quincy) towards silver honors, completing their penalt-free round in 63.48 seconds.
Christian Ahlmann (GER) and Mandato van de Neerheide were 1.4 seconds slower than the latter two, however their mark of 64.86 seconds was just enough to conquer them the third spot on the podium.
