
Omaha, Nebraska, USA – April 08, 2023 – It’s showtime for showjumping and the grand finale at the 2023 Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ Final with the running of the €1,300,000 Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ Final III tonight. After the first two classes, Pius Schwizer (SUI) and Andreas Schou (DEN) have been the two most consistent riders so far, sharing the lead before the two rounds that could decide the champion.
A total of 30 combinations representing Brazil (1), Canada (1), Denmark (1), France (2), Germany (4), Great Britain (2), Ireland (2), Israel (1), Lithuania (1), Netherlands (1), New Zealand (1), Norway (1), Saudi Arabia (1), Sweden (2), Switzerland (3), United States of America (5), Uzbekistan (1).Philip Steiner (NZL) and Cassina Dior will be the trailblazers, entering the ring of the CHI Health Center Omaha at 06:15 PM local time while Pius Schwizer (SUI) and Vancouver de Lanlore have the advantage of going last in the first round.
Tables can turn, that’s what they say! Even more so tonight, when the five highest-placed combinations in the overall standings are separated by a maximum of 5 penalties, that is less than two fences, including Henrik von Eckermann (SWE) on King Edward and Harrie Smolders (NED) with Monaco N.O.P.
