Who’s in for Omaha? Breaking Down the North American League Qualified Athletes for World Cup Finals

Ocala, Florida, USA – March 23, 2023 – Eight qualifiers. Three countries. Six months. The 2022-2023 Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ North American League came to a thrilling conclusion last Sunday at Live Oak International CSI4*-W.

Andre Thieme (GER) and DSP Chakaria’s win was impactful, but just as significant was the finalization of points for the season, firming up the league’s qualified athletes for the Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ Final, set for April 4-8 in Omaha, Nebraska, USA.

There are 14 invitations available to North American athletes. They are allocated in this manner:

  • 7 East Coast U.S. Athletes
  • 3 West Coast U.S. Athletes
  • 2 Canadian Athletes
  • 2 Mexican Athletes

Athletes not from the U.S., Canada or Mexico that declare the NAL as their primary league qualify for the Finals as “Extra Athletes.” To qualify, they must earn the same amount of points or more as the last qualifying East Coast U.S. athlete.
