Thibault Lacrevaz Stuns Favorites to Win Big at the Mediterranean Equestrian Tour CSI 2*

Oliva Nova, Valencia, Spain โ€“ February 10, 2023 โ€“ No familiar names this time! Thibault Lacrevaz (FRA) and Drievandekamp D Pages stunned several renowned riders and horses of the noble sport in Europe on Friday at the Mediterranean Equestrian Tour CSI 2*. The Frenchman teamed up with the 2013 chestnut Selle Franรงais mare (Goldfever 3 x Fidelio du Thot*HN) to claim top honors in the โ‚ฌ26,400 CHG – Construcciones Hispano Germanas S.A. Speed Challenge CSI 2*, clearing all the 1.45m obstacles before securing the win against 52 other combinations by crossing the finish line in 61.18 seconds.

One of the winningest riders at the venue the past years, Nicolas Delmotte (FRA) had to settle for second this time. His riding aboard Citadin du Chatellier (Lโ€™Arc de Triomphe x Diamant de Semilly) was impecable, registering no penalties in 61.70 seconds.

Another big name of the sport completed the podium, enhancing Lacrevaz’s victory. Jรฉrรดme Guery (BEL) and Come Away Flamingo Z (Cardento x Dollar du Murier) completed the podium with no penalties too, being timed in 63.11 seconds.
