
Bordeaux, France – February 02, 2023 – Julien Epaillard (FRA) has jumped to the top of the Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ Western European League Standings wiht just two qualifiers left to take place in the 2022-2023 season before the Finals in April at Omaha, Nebraska, USA.
Epaillard overtook the reigning world champion and current number-one ranked rider in the world, Sweden’s Henrik von Eckermann (SWE), after winning the €160,000 Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ Amsterdam CSI 5*-W last Sunday. The Frenchman leads the pack with a total of 92 points while von Eckermann (SWE) sits in second place only four points behind.
Daniel Deusser (GER) has secured bronze honors so far ahead of Kevin Staut (FRA) by registering a combined score of 70 points compared to the Frenchman’s total of 64. Gerrit Nieberg (GER) rounds out the top five with a total of 53 points.
